PENNY CANDY - Really - For a Penny
If 2017 will be your first trip to the historic Springfield Fair, or if you have not
ventured down to our museum, you should know that we have been offering penny
candy sales to the young and young at heart. Our older generations remember
candy for a penny and in some cases multiple pieces of candy for a penny. About
15 years ago we thought it would be fun, and exciting for the kids, to be able to
buy 25 pieces for 25 cents. So take your little ones or grandchildren down to the
museum and visit with Arthur Hewes and family all while enjoying memories of
yesteryear of Penny Candy.
