September 3rd & 4th | 171st Fair is a Go!

Mark your calendar for Friday, September 3rd & Saturday, September 4th as the 171st Springfield Fair roars to life in the beautiful Maine Highlands Region! We look forward to your smiling faces, great food, loud motors, and frolicking farm animals! The truck pulls will take place Saturday while the demolition derby will be Friday.

The vendors are committed and the farm animals will soon be show-ready. We would like to see more participation in the horseshow so please help us spread the word! Vendors are welcome and may apply here. View rules and regulations here. Get a Free Ice Cream Cone & Win $100! Kids aged 1-10 entering the fairgrounds they will be given a Children's Day Scorecard. Teens aged 11-18 will be given a Teen's Day Scorecard. For every kid's event that they participate in, the event superintendent initials the form. If they participate in at least six of the events for 1-10-year-olds or at least four events for 11-18-year-olds, they will receive a free ice cream and a chance to win $100. Qualifying events for ages 1-10 are: Gold Dust, Face Painting, Bubblegum Blowing, Sac Race, Woodsman's Day, Scavengenger hunt, Kids Tractor Pulls, Oreo Cookie Stacking, Hot Shot Hoops, Pinata. Qualifying events for ages 11-18 are: Woodman's Day Events, Long Range Hoops, Oreo Cookie Stacking, Football Toss for accuracy, Hot Shot Hoops, Bubblegum Blowing. $100 drawing will take place at 3:00 PM in the Pavilion.
