Wednesday, August 27

12 - 6 PM Items may be entered in the exhibit hall and the woodcarving contest. 4-H projects may be entered in the exhibit hall.

Sunday, August 31 - 4-H Demonstration Day

$10 Admission ($5 age 62 and over) (4-H members get in free by showing an official 4-H membership card)

*Register between 10am and 3pm for the Amateur Talent Show. Important note: Voice-over singing along with popular songs is not allowed in the talent show. Instrumental backing tapes or live music only!--other rules apply.

8am Register for Springfield Fair Association Horse Show
Gates open to the public--GIANT PRIZE GIVEAWAY at 7:30 p.m. following the talent show! (Grand prize is a used car! Get your giveaway registration form at the gate with your paid admission. One form per fair-goer. Turn the form in at the log cabin information building - must be present to win)
8am Horse Pull weigh-in.
Springfield Fair Association Horse Show begins

10am Horse Pulls begin.

State competition--"Maine Blueberry Pie Contest"--judging in the pavilion
2:30pm “Farmer Olympics"--do the chores of a farmer in record time and win prizes!--in front of grandstand

5pm *Amateur Talent Show-- at the stage (2 classes: 14 and under and 15 and over)
6pm Exhibit hall closes

7:30pm GIANT PRIZE GIVEAWAY--Many fine prizes, donated by local businesses and merchants, will be drawn off. Must be present to win. Begins shortly after the talent show. All winners and all other registrants are eligible for the grand prize of a beautiful, new (well, actually it's used) car. Kayak and TV also given away!

8pm Music from the stage by “Wolf Creek”
10pm Midway closes
