2. After 13 years, we will need to replace a couple of the 10" x 10" vertical supports to the Moores Family Stage.

3. The 1/2-mile harness raing track will have more soil added to it. It'll be graded and shaped to offer better drainage. There should be two more drains installed at the back of the track.

4. We will be installing new posts and cable to the animal pulling arena.

5. We are adding 25 more of the "Jersey barriers" for added motor sport safety for participants and spectators both. These have been graciously donated by Sargent Materials of Lincoln. THANK YOU!

6. We are building a new 16' x 16' bandstand that will be situated near the new walk in gate. This will give us a nice, covered area to register for the classic and antique auto show, the old and new farm tractor show and pig scramble (which we anticipate moving to this area this year). It will also allow us to offer more local and regional entertainment throught the three full days of the fair.

7. We are building a 75' x75' livestock arena also to be placed in the "old parking area". We will be continuing our expansion of small animal shows to this area, too.

8. Last year's new vinyl signs will be revamped for easier reading and, we hope, less confusion.

As time and money allow, we will be doing lots of staining and painting. We received lots of good suggestions from 2010 fair goers and we hope to implement many of these, too. As slways, we are working year round to bring the Greater Springfield Area a stunningly spectacular agricultural fair.
